I saw Jake Reaves' promotional video, and I thought the video and the work ethic of the owner were incredible, so I stopped by two hours after open and they were already about to close up. Still got a scone (no one on Earth makes better scones than this lady) and a fresh French press that was the best cup of coffee I've had in recent memory. I hope this business flourishes and never goes away :) You've got to get there early if you want anything, because they sell out quick!
The scones are heavenly here. They have everyday scones and unique scones, like white chocolate lavender, my favorite. Everything here is incredible and the people are friendly like your next door neighbors.
Absolutely everything here is delicious. You really can't go wrong. They bake as much as they can every morning and sell until they're out, so get there early for the best selection. My favorites are the pecan twist, babka, and any of the fruit kolache. They also have good (standard drip) coffee to balance the sweet.
Kolaches like your Czech grandmother would make. You better grab a pecan twist before they sell out. Fantastic! Great service by friendly people.
