I highly recommend this hospital!!
Television in ER on 12-26-17 between 3pm and 5:30pm was on VH1 very inappropriate channel contained nudity, violence. Women had only pasties on to cover their nipples. I had enough, along with senior citizens waiting. I spoke to the receptionist about it and she said there was nothing she could do about it. She didn't have the remotes. I told her someone from their department needed to monitor what is playing on the Tv's in the ER waiting rooms. She said she would have someone come change the channel but no one came. I had my husband change the channel off the indecent, nudity, and violent programs that had been showing in th ER since we arrived with my Dad. Surely someone has enough sense how to control the TV's in public waiting areas that are suitable, decent, and protect children from nudity and violence. You should be able to block all channels that don't meet the child appropriate guidelines.
However, I understand the no smoking policy and respect that. I do not smoke but do vape. I had a rude nurse say something to me after parking my car and coming into the hospital. Not everyone knows what you may or may not be dealing with. If I'm here it means that I have someone very sick and possibly worse.
The ER is the worst I've seen anywhere in the U.S.!!!! The staff was obviously absent when the meaning of triage was taught. One older guy struggling to breathe, can't seem to catch his breath is being ignored while the rest of the crowd in the waiting area is having entirely TOO MUCH fun for people who allegedly have an emergency medical condition that needs attention. THAT is what Medicaid has done to healthcare......, deadbeats milking the system while those in genuine need die!!!!
My father is currently staying here. So far everyone that I have come into contact with has been very helpful. Dr. Wagnor has been taking care if my dad and has been very helpful in helping me understand all about his conditions. His bedside manner is one of best that I've encountered.
Doesn't deserve one star, I was just sent home with 6 millimeter Kidney stones blockage. Went in excruciating pain to the ER, told them it's on my x-ray from this week, my Urologist showed me the stone in my kidney. Two ER doctors could not see it, so I was sent home in uncontrollable pain with a script for the very same antibiotic I have been taking for a infection from the last stone I passed. Anyone would know if you passed that size of a stone. Was told I must have passed it & didn't know it. I will never go back to that ER or hospital. The hospital equipment is old. Don't go there even if you are dying.
I’ve had both of my daughters here. The staff was caring, attentive & knowledgeable. I love all the nurses & they loved my babies like they were family. Doctor Kyle Citty was wonderful! My only complaint is the billing department are difficult to deal with. They always get my insurance information mixed up.
