Old and musty. Good breakfast. Heating and Cooling system loud.
The room I was originally supposed to stay in smelled like cigarette smoke, so I requested a new room and the hotel accommodated me immediately. The second room was fine. They recently remodeled the pool and hot tub, and they are now very nice. The pool is half-indoors & half-outdoors. Overall good stay.
When we got our first room the air unit did not work, we called the front desk and they said to give it some time to cool down the room, we waited about an hour or so & we were still dripping in sweat. Finally I went down to the front desk & complained. The lady tried to give me an attitude until I asked for a number to call & her name. It took them about 15 minutes to find another room, as most air units were working very poorly. Finally we got one, the room was smelly, dirty, bathroom wasn't clean, and neither of the trash cans were emptied out. We went to the pool, and the floors were not slip resistant. The hottub was dirty. The pool was okay, and I liked the indoor outdoor thing, but it could've been cleaner. The hot breakfast was good. About the only thing I enjoyed in my stay was the breakfast.. I probably won't be staying here again unless it's an absolute must.
Very nice accommodations. Very nice staff. Worth a few extra bucks to stay in comfort.
Weve stayed here several times when visiting searcy. Rooms have been updated with new flatscreens, mini fridge & beds. Clean comfortable rooms especially for the price. Get the executive suite with a balcony. Full hot breakfast bar in the mornings also.
